I have an old TV in the garden and sometimes want to watch Netflix or something there. Since this TV is not a smart TV, I would like to use an adapter so that I can connect my cell phone to it and thus stream Netflix from my cell phone. I have the huawai p20 lite and I want to buy the following adapter.
1st Choice:

2nd choice:
You can't connect your mobile phone to it without smart TV
🤦🏼♂️
About these cables
Connect, but Netflix has protection that prevents streaming through such methods. Unfortunately it didn't work for me either. Netflix on TV is only possible with a laptop + HDMI cable or smart tv
You can also take a Chromecast: https://www.bauhaus.info/smart-home-starter-kits/google-streaming-stick-video-chromecast-3/p/27518380?ef_id=EAIaIQobChMIjNKXz_jM6gIVhbp3Ch3bmAPZEAkYAiABEgLvO_D_BwE:G:s&s_kwcid=AL!5677!3!427263744436!!!g!893161104418!&cid=PSEGoo9709541032_99153657053&pla_campid=9709541032&pla_adgrid=99153657053&pla_prpaid=893161104418&pla_prid=27518380&pla_adt=pla&pla_prch=online&pla_stco=
The Chromecast is set up on the smartphone using the Google Home app.
With the Chromecast you have the advantage that the whole thing is wireless.
Can also be wireless via chromecast / miracast adapter
The statement is not true for every device.
There are Android smartphones that can play Netflix on a second screen. There are also devices or faulty software versions where it is not possible.
Your Huawei P20 Lite can't output an image via the USB port. So Netflix is not possible.
With other smartphones, especially high-end devices, it is possible.
If you have a Wi-Fi connection on the TV there's a streaming stick such as A Chromecast or FireTV is the best choice. There are no offers for around 40 euro.
