To improve your English, you should target British series. Therefore, I recommend you the series Timeless. I find the content of the series good. It improved my english so much that my grade improved from a 4+ to a 1. It's best to watch the series with English subtitles, then you'll know how to write the words. And of course, write down every single word you do not know and then look it up and memorize later. That helped me a lot so far and I hope that it will help you too.
