Netflix to improve Spanish?

I've had Spanish in school for a year and I'm pretty good too. Since I would probably like to choose Spanish as the 4th Abifach (come to Q1 after the summer vacation; my decision is not yet final, however), I also wanted to practice a bit.

In addition to repeating material, I also wanted to watch series. I just wonder how I should watch them. Either in German with Spanish subtitles, in Spanish with German subtitles or in Spanish with Spanish subtitles (even if you understand little or almost nothing). I would be happy about your experiences.

House of money.

That depends on your level. If you can read Spanish clearly, I would recommend Spanish language and Spanish subtitles.

But if you have problems reading, I would rather do Spanish with German subtitles.

I actually watched a series in Spanish with German subtitles because the series was only in Spanish but I was annoyed by the Spanish names haha.

I think it depends what you want to learn

Speak or write Spanish.

I think both help to understand but both in a different way.

With one you know how to write it, with the other how to pronounce it.

Both of these would of course bring the most, but makes no sense in understanding the language.

You know how to write it and don't speak what it means.

Spanish as audio in any case. As for the subtitles: Spanish is often not so easy to hear. So subtitles in Spanish would not be bad. But they are not 1: 1 like the audio, but mostly described in a shorter way. And if you haven't progressed further, you will struggle to understand that. So German subtitles might be better.
