I read that tvd will be removed from Netflix on March 1st is that true? Because I'm just in Season 6 and wanted to see the series again

Yes, but you can buy the books or the DVD's. Or you could get yourself Prime Video I think there's The Vampire Diaries too!

So right now the whole series is still up to the 8th season and it's already March?! So probably no!
