In the second episode of the netflix series Umbrella Academy, the one who doesn't have super skills says to the violin student that Monet didn't start painting until he was 40. But that's not true, Claude Monet painted since he was a teenager and sold his first pictures as a teenager. So why this untrue statement, what is it about?
The character obviously didn't know himself.
I would say that unfortunately very few people question such statements on Netflix. Most probably save this as an "interesting" fact and maybe tell a few people about it without even having a clue. Nowadays, when it comes to something irrelevant, it is very easy to believe anything that seems interesting, right or wrong.
