Duplicate Netflix Account

Just registered with Netflix. My father wanted to pay me and wanted to pay by direct debit. Ivh had entered everything but then I wanted to register and it said: complete registration and I came back to the payment method. Then I tried it with a credit card and then it worked, I was able to register and also got an email. Have I now created an account and it was not taken twice?

If it were twice then you would have been able to log in the first time right?

It also said: welcome but complete registration
