Image problems with Netflix?

I have connected a laptop to the television with the HDMI cable. Now I wanted to turn on Chihioro's journey to the magic land on Netflix. The problem is, however, that the picture on the television is black. But the sound is there. What can I do?

The cable is right in. You can see everything just in the Netflix window, the picture is black where the bikd from the film is on the dwm laptop
