Somehow. Whether one quits or not with credit is still a hive. No more money there = no extension. Will be canceled automatically.
Would make more sense if you can cancel monthly, like other payers, and then it will be stopped and will continue until you start it again. But it does not matter to Netflix.
So yes, it's stupid.
