You can only apply to films and series if the directors are also looking for actors for a new character. This is rarely the case with existing series.

For Riverdale at most the next season, if they're looking for a new one at all. Then only as a supporting role if, for example, tanned skin or blonde hair are required for a role. I would rather recommend something German. Maybe the mountain doctor, crime scene, any other doctor or crime series. The advantage there's that they have a lot of actors who only appear once in a sequence and then never again. You can get good experience there. The shoot is comparatively short and you can practice slipping into different roles. If you have no experience at all, just go to RTL, they are known for their low SC game skills. You can start very small and nobody finds it bad if you make mistakes or are unbelievable.
And the chances of being cast for well-known and famous series like Riverdale are incredibly slim for someone with no experience

Just as a tip: I would not recommend RTL. The programs made many people worse than they are and later when people see you in the city it can get violent and you don't want to risk that.
