Naruto Deidara crossed out in Shikamaru's manual?

I'm on Naruto Shippuden season 4 episode 7 (Netflix listing), in which Asuma, Shikamaru and two other shinobi fight Hidan in front of the "bounty collection point". Asuma has already been caught in the "life connection jutsu" by Hidan and before he can hurt Asuma one more time, Shikamaru catches him with the shadow jutsu and thinks about how he can dissolve the jutsu.

On the real point: When Shikamaru thinks about it, a flashback is shown in which he flips through a book in which the Akatsuki members are listed. He then flips through it and says on Sasori's page, on which his photo is crossed out with a red X, that he has already been defeated. Then he flips to Deidara's page and on this his photo is crossed out with an X. Actually, Deidara isn't dead yet, is it?

Yes, but they thought he was dead because he used the self-destruct jutsu earlier… But it was just his doppelganger.

No, but they think he's dead because he actually blew himself up when Naruto and Kakashi fought him in Gaara's rescue.
