Children's tray?

my daughter gets more and more homework in apps like Anton. So far she has done this on my cell phone but she says that is stupid because it is too small. Now I've considered unpacking my iPad and loading it on it. Well it is an iPad 1G and tortz very good condition for nothing anymore because you need Update 9 for this app.

Which can you recommend me?

Maybe I thought of one that you can use afterwards as an ebook reader and for Netflix and co on vacation. Shouldn't be the newest now but already one that gets updates.

I have a kids tab at home. Android is the absolute best. Unfortunately, the Anton app is not available for purchase in the app store and can't be downloaded from the web.

A normal 2018 ipad is clear for the learning apps and netflix, if they had to write something by hand it would even work with the apple pencil.

Buying a tablet for the child? No, I advise against that. Maybe a family tablet that your child can use for school and 30 minutes of Netflix / YouTube… I recommend the 7th generation iPad. Not the newest but new enough for all apps. Or otherwise a Samsung tablet

The latest iPads are great - and really not expensive. You can get it from just 350 euro - from last year for 250. So you are not doing anything wrong and they will also be supplied with updates for the next 3-4 years. + if your child should / want to write something by hand, you can buy the pencil (I think 90 euro).

As I said my daughter can use it for school (Anton app) I want to load it as an ebook reader and a couple of Netflix children's series for the holidays for the long drive.

We also have the tablet from Amazon and my husband was able to download the Anton app from the app store.
