I've been a big fan of Marvel and DC Universe since I was a kid and I guess I know more than you.
If you had stronger arguments than to ask my knowledge about the question, then the question arises which of us is the stupid and the childish.
Watch the second season of Daredevil. Then you will notice that the first season of the Punisher follows right there.
And besides, the three Punisher films have exactly as much to do with the Netflix series as the Daredevil film, namely nothing at all.
I'm not saying you're wrong about your comics. That may be all. Only that has nothing to do with the Netflix productions.
