K Drama Recommendations - romance action?

I love KDramas and wanted to ask which ones you can recommend to me or what your favorite Kdramas are.

So far I've looked

W two worlds

Healer

K2

While you were sleeping

Gap dong

Duel

Who are you? School 2015

Bad guys

Save me

Solomons Perjury

Black

Tempted / the great seducer

Remember

And then started a few more that I still have to finish, e.g. Strong Women Do Bong Soon, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Book jo, The King, Suits, What's wrong with secretary kim, Goblin, The King

Why don't I finish watching the others first? Because 1. I don't know where I started them (unless they were on Netflix) and if I find it, then I often have kp which episode I was on. Also, I'm looking for a certain type of KDrama. My all-time favorite drama is W. I just like that mix of romance and action. I also think the story is special and it doesn't stretch like other Kdramas. Do you know that when you have long conversations, but somehow nothing happens?

Can you recommend a good, exciting Kdrama with a bit of action, romance and comedy? And it would be good if it is available on netflix

ja

I understand well what you mean by these conversations, they annoy me too. Never advance the plot and are boring. Presumably cheap to produce, which is why they are often used as such a gap filler… Weightlifting Fairy has a lot of it, which is why it is not one of my favorites.

Dramas that I really liked in terms of action and romance are, for example: Kill me Heal me, Masters Sun, While you were sleeping, Faith / The great doctor, Mr Sunshine, Just between Lovers, Lawless Lawyer, Descendents of the Sun, Are you human too, Man to Man, maybe The Scholar who walks the night, The beauty inside and Holo Love. All of them have their disadvantages, but maybe they are something for you. The films there are "Along with the Gods", which I found worth seeing (but not romantic) and Always (that is romantic).

Secret Terrius starts so well and then falls apart story-wise and then makes no sense at all. Memories of Alhambra has a really disturbing, meaningless little mouse as the female lead and pulls herself off. Stranger is nice but has little romance. Suspicious partner maybe too much discussion. However, I'm not that much of a fan of W either, I find the drawing pad as a quasi Deus-Ex-Machina, especially towards the end, a lazy kind of plot development and you wonder what rules the thing is subject to, they change constantly. But everyone has their own.

Bo

Thanks for the many recommendations. And yes, that's true with the drawing pad, but I just love the story and I'm also a huge fan of Lee Jong Suk, that's why it's my favorite KDrama. And wait because there's not so much babbling… I will definitely look at some of the list, Kill me Heal me has also been in my watchlist for some time, I will probably start with it. But first I have to watch W the second time to the end (how can you forget so much plot in two years haha). Do you actually know Rugal? It just occurred to me that I saw that too and that this is my second favorite KDrama, even if I don't know why…

ja

I saw Rugal a long time ago, but after the first couple of episodes I wasn't really happy with it anymore… The story development didn't seem to be guided by any logic, there was little character development, I found the focus on one main character in the long term annoying (similar to Hotel del Luna) and also not really explainable, the supporting characters were stale and uninteresting. Every now and then you just ask yourself why the hell he's doing it and why the others act like that. The K2 was sometimes like that, only that there was just the female antagonist who played everyone against the wall…

But everyone has an inexplicable favorite, I also like Boys over Flowers and that's probably the most pointless Cinderella story with plotholes and pure melodrama…
