So my last piece of information was that Netflix ended this trial month. But I only notice it sporadically because I've had a subscription for a long time and don't need it

Well, logically there's only one free subscription (if at all) per customer… And not e.g. 10 times in a row with 10 email addresses.
Probably in Germany. It still exists in Austria.
