How did Scottie Pippen grow 15cm as a young adult?

I'm currently watching The Last Dance on Netflix, which is about the last year of the Chicago Bulls. Episode two says that Scottie was 1.85 by 18 and something by 20 2m.

Similar to Michael Jordan, with 18 1.90 and with I think 19 or 20 2m tall.
