Flashlight with color?

I'm currently watching the Elite series on Netflix and in one episode they are looking for someone and the police used flashlights in the dark, it is clear why but there were 2 different flashlights, one with a white and one with a green light and my question is what about the green So there's light on whether it can do something like normal light

or is it just another kind of black light?
