Headphones work - can I do something?

I've only had my Apple headphones for 2-3 months because the previous ones have already broken. Only one of them works here. I chilled out watching Netflix and then suddenly the headphones stopped working. Can I repair it or something or do I have to buy new ones again?

However, you can currently usually get it for around 10 euro.

What you could do would be to cut off the break and solder a new jack / lightning connector on it, it would probably be cheaper to buy new ones directly.
