Now that I have fifa for the PC, I want to buy a Ps4 controller, so a 2nd one. If I now use it at home for my Ps4 and then connect it to the PC via Bluetooth, it is still connected to the Ps4 because it is often on because of my girlfriend when I play fifa. She always watches YouTube or Netflix on Ps4, when I connect it to the PC and, for example, press X do I then pause the video / film? Or it logs out of the ps4 as soon as I connect it to the PC
If you couple the controller with the PC while the Ps4 is still off you have no problem with that. The controller only reconnects to the Ps4 when you connect it to the cable
I don't know if there will be problems with the Ps4 still on but I think it's better that way.
So then connect Ps4 to the PC
Because the Ps4 is almost always on because of Youtube, controlling it via the app but switching it on and clicking everything until you are on Youtube, I have to use the controller.
Oh yes, I didn't formulate that perfectly. I think it's better when it's off, but maybe it works when it's on. Google times how to put a controller in pairing / bluetooth mode. I think it's something like pressing the PS or touch button several times. Let's see what happens then. If the front light goes on normally and connects to the Ps4, I would turn off the Ps4 and try again. Then the light should blink and you can find it on the PC.
A Ps4 controller for the PC is a humbug because of compatibility and bugs. But since you already have it…
Unplug the ps4 from the cable and then connect the controller to the PC. Then the controller doesn't even know that the ps4 exists. You can of course plug in the Ps4 again after coupling.
Buy an xbox controller that always works flawlessly with every PC briefly with a cable, then everything works
