What did it mean that DreamWorks films like King Fu Panda, Bee Movie, Monster vs Aliens or How to Train Your Dragon were removed from Netflix? Were the ratings too low or is DreamWorks also planning to launch its own streaming service? Is there anything known about it or has the license expired?
The license will have expired…
Disney opens its own stream.
DreamWorks is not part of Disney
Disney has been organizing the distribution of all DreamWorks films since 2011.
The licenses simply expired.
Some new films / series / seasons from Dreamworks are already planned for 2020 for Netflix.
The two have been working together for ages. It will not be any different in the future either.
