I'm a big fan of anime but lately i noticed that the animes were removed. I wanted to watch some anime again but they were removed, e.g. Fate / Zero or The Testament of sister new devil. Can anyone tell me why Netflix removes anime, will they be uploaded again?
And if possible tell me where I can watch anime without removing it.
You ALWAYS expect something like that, whether anime, TV series or film. It is the case that such licenses are issued on a temporary basis. Then the respective provider has the option of renewing the license or not.
It may be that Netflix does not include them in the program again, but like so many things with the store, everything is uncertain.
These licenses are usually designed for a limited time, and if the anime did not go down well or was too expensive afterwards, it will be deleted. The anime may also come back if it's worth it for Netflix, but you can't know that as a viewer.
If the licenses expire and Netflix does not renew them because it is not worth it (too few look at it, too expensive) or whether the right ones are available for renewal. However, it may still be that Netflix will resume films and series.
There are some animes at TVnow - I pay 2.99 euro per month (but have been with me for a while) and can watch everything there. Just have a look ;-)
Netflix once said that the series and films don't want to stay in there forever. (Reason I don't remember)
If something is very well received, it stays in the library for a long time (such as Supernatural).
If something does not go down well or is little watched, it will come out faster and another series / film will come along instead.
