I'm looking for films that are rather disturbing and have good twists than films with jumpscares. I found the shaft or in the tall grass quite good. Does anyone know of similar films?

Unfortunately, I have to say that I have no idea whether they are available on Netflix. (I only have Amazon Prime myself)
Should you find it anywhere else or if it is there, I would only recommend it to you.
Saw
The film series is super especially the first part. It is exciting, there are several twists and it is also disturbing but rather the sequels. Unfortunately, it is not on Netflix.
Hostel
Is very disturbing and also exciting. There's no twist but it's on Netflix.
Orphan-The Orphan as someone said here. (A very good twist at the end) and generally very exciting.
Deliver us from the evil & Veronica are also very great films and you will definitely not be bored 😂
If you are also interested in horror series I would recommend American Horror Story.
