A long time ago I saw an advertisement for a series that is set in the future and a black / dark wall appears on the beach. At first everyone is afraid, but as the series progresses, people get used to it. The series is most likely an in-house production by a streaming service (Netflix, Amazon prime, etc.)

If that wasn't a wall, but a cloud that looked like a roller, then I know which film you mean. After "contact" with the cloud, a few people have special skills. For example, a boy can heal other people. A French production, unfortunately I can't think of the title.
