Netflix & Prime Video App in Windows 10?

For a few weeks now I've had the problem with the Netflix app, which takes it a long time to start films or series.

I open the app, select a series and then I want to start it. After waiting at least 30 seconds (can take longer) the series finally starts.
It's the same with the Prime Video app. I have updated both apps and have already uninstalled and installed them.

Didn't change anything. Everything runs and loads via the browser (Firefox) without any problems. Series / film starts after a few seconds.

Of course, I can also watch Netflix and Prime Video in my browser. Still, I would be interested to know what could be the reason?

Hm, unfortunately can't help you. Prime Video app is streaming quickly on my PC, Netflix also takes a long time to start the stream.

But if the browser is an alternative for you, then I would find it better, I only use it (but on the PC) because there's the https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/30029-netflix-marathon script for the Tampermonkey add-on that skips opening, ending and recaps automatically. As long as there are skippable elements. Perfect for binge watching series ^^ Would that be what?

So the apps downloaded from the microsoft store on m pc are just bad. Therefore, watch netflix only on the firefox browser, since the app simply lacks many functions such as 1.25 speed or follow lists.

It's just strange that the two apps ran for a long time without problems and then suddenly cause these problems.

I don't need increased speed

Netflix (in Firefox) does everything automatically for me. No opening credits, no flashbacks and no credits either. Don't have any additional addons

Hmm, that's right. XD Had the script on for a couple of years, Netflix didn't do it then.
