How do I persuade my parents to watch a movie that I'm not allowed to watch?

I'm 13 years old and I want to watch Terminator 2 (from 16).

My parents don't allow me because he's still too brutal for me. Like the film seven that I watched on yt and was not that brutal for me.

How do I persuade my parents to watch him? I don't have a Netflix on my cell phone and watching films on cell phones is just terrible for me.

I can always watch series from 16 but never films that makes no sense at all.

Fortunately, I've never had the problem. Find these age restrictions mostly exaggerated and nonsensical. I've always seen it that way and so do parents.

How would you watch him? I would try secretly. (To all who now think that this is not right: it does not hurt anyone with it and it is good and right to have their own experiences, that is part of life)

Try it first with your idea: that you can also watch series from 16. I really didn't think the film was bad. If that doesn't help and you really can't persuade them to do so, you could promise to look away from more brutal spots. A good atmosphere is important too, of course, so make sure you have a good mood.

No means no.

Parents are guided by these age specifications, which are set by experts. They also specify what the FS should be guided by.

Then try the RTL2 version of film T2.

This broadcaster had an abbreviated FSK-12 version created, which it then always broadcasts from 20:15. The FSK16 version will only be broadcast after 22:00.

You should know one thing about these FSK classifications:

They are not legally binding regulations, but only suggestions or represent a guideline. It is about the "suitability" of the age group.

However, there are legal regulations regarding the way in which the classification is to be carried out.

The parents still have the last word.

This is not a problem in the private environment, but in public, e.g. In the cinema, "children accompanied by an adult (legal guardian)" can attend a performance in which they were originally not allowed to go alone.

I was there…

When the first Jurassic Park (FSK 12) was released at the cinema back in 1993 …

There were real dramas when the 11-year-olds were rejected in bulk at the box office. It was heartbreaking!

It was particularly bad when groups of children (11 + 12 years) should be separated…

At that time, the FSK classifications were still "brutally" enforced in practice.

Life is not a request concert.

Oh, LittleQueen… We had already dealt with this topic ten days ago. And so many people answered you, including me. Actually I thought you understood it… But I see that I was wrong. Read you again your question that you asked ten days ago, that's why you should listen to your parents about movies.

Therefore I do not want to give an answer to this question here. Ten days ago I said everything I wanted to and should say.

Ju

Yes. That's right, but I personally find these often inadequate. Many things should be viewed much more moderately.

The film was just one example of the question i had

Ten days ago the question was actually how can I trust myself to oppose my parents and I mentioned this with the films
