That's a serious question.
I have been aimless for a very long time and did not yet know what I wanted to be. Sometimes I wanted to be a doctor to make my parents proud and sometimes I wanted to be a pyrotechnician to pursue my hobby. The path to being a doctor is too time-consuming for me and as a pyrotechnician you simply earn too little to make ends meet without having a side job.
I'm just 17 years old (male) and am doing my high school diploma. I only became interested in acting when I chose DS (performing) in my school. Before, the thought NEVER appealed to me to want to act, but then suddenly the turn came and I liked it. I like to stand in front of an audience and I also like to play together with others and just go into a completely new dimension. I like the atmosphere and when I play I hide everything and just play my part. It may sound weird, but I like that kind of attention. D).
Next school year I will have DS for another qualification year, but then it will be over and I do NOT want that! I don't want to forget this feeling of happiness. It makes me alive and belongs to me.
Since I became interested in acting, I often try to pay attention to the facial expressions of the characters in films and re-enact them. It may sound strange, but I also do it subconsciously. D).
At school I also got a 1 for playing, but school grades and reality don't have much to do with each other. You can orientate yourself partly, but then it stops again. My teacher also advised me to continue taking DS. I had 13 P. In the end (for those who should be interested).
My more specific question now: Can I still manage to become a famous actor despite the late start, who could possibly also appear on Netflix? What do I have to do and how am I spotted? Should I email my DS teacher asking for advice, or would that be too much of a good thing? I want to make it!
I thank you for any seriously meant answer. Have a good time.
A job directly at netflix?
But you have too high expectations
Focus on gaining more experience first
