Fire HD10 vs MediaPad M5?

I'm looking for a new tablet. I had a Fire 7 so far, but the part is now totally lame and more than watching movies was not there anyway.

Especially in the evening I watch movies in bed (Amazon and Netflix) and would like to play some games with it and possibly in the near future sometimes with keyboard create one or the other document / edit. (Write letters etc)

I have chosen the Fire HD10 until now. Is quite cheap, but of course not exactly the performance bomb and quite limited. Do not know if it is sufficient for my needs?

As an alternative, the Mediapad M5 in the eye. Cost twice as much but promises a lot and you seem to be able to do everything without problems.

Anyone experience with the devices and can say something about my needs?

All a question of the budget.
