Crime or thriller?

I have to analyze a crime thriller of my choice for school and I was shown that the film Fractured is a thriller, but the description says that it is a thriller film and that confuses me. I don't know now whether I can use it for analysis or not.
Can anybody help me further?

But the film is really good, generally oceans 11 to oceans 13 are all good too, I think
