Hi, I have had problems playing services like Netflix or Spotify for a long time because the Widevine plugin somehow no longer works.
I had reset my browser settings and then downloaded the plugin again and since then it is no longer possible to play films, series or songs.
There's also a strange message under the plugin:
Maybe someone of you knows what I can do now that Spotify and Netflix are playable again, I would be very happy.
You have to download the data securely (Firefox Sync) and Firefox to Mozilla.org
And how do I do that?
You go on the three lines then sign on
My name is at the top with
WEAKNESS, because that doesn't help solve the problem.
Wait a minute
I should then enter my password, but I don't have one
And you can cache the data in another browser, and my data is worth something to me.
What are you using for a browser?
But Opera VPN already or how
Ka I can't cope
Go to the plugin and then to…
And then?
What is there with you
I'm at home in half an hour now from home from work
I added a screenshot to the question
What are you using for a browser?
Chrome or Firefox.
So if your data is important to you, you may not use chrome
Yes, but with uBlock Origin, Chrome is data protection like Firefox with Chromium. And of course I'm signed in with the Google account.
No Chrome always sends to the NSA
Really? But 1. Chrome is not better than Firefox because you can switch off a lot via the settings and 2. Google knows a lot about the user anyway.
I do not use anything from Google except YouTube (so that no personalized ****** comes in the private tab
And do you use a VPN and DNS-over-TLS? If not: hypocrite (pay attention to data protection, but do not use a VPN).
Bla bla bla Opera VPN or what's so unsafe I'm currently testing Firefox Provate Network
For "only" 5 euro / month. Rip off if you really want to use it long term.
No nothing is free who wants to program it? Imagine it is you but you also want to live
Yes, but you get prepayment discounts on long terms from the competition.
You're right but I know what mozilla does that you have to include it
You're right but I know what mozilla does that you have to include it
Yes, but it's not Mozilla, it's some Swedish service. https://vpn.mozilla.org/
