On my profile I have a child lock that is set so that I don't watch things from the age of 18. However, series such as skins (from 16) are also simply hidden. At first I thought the series would no longer be available, but you can find it on a different profile. Actually, the pin would have to be queried if I want to watch something from 18, but somehow that doesn't happen.
Your parents have probably set the child lock so that films and series from 16 pin must be entered.
You can also block individual films or series.

Since you are not yet 16 based on the profile, your parents are unfortunately right to do so.
