What can go wrong here?
It may be that your wireless router has an activated MAC filter (also called "Allow WLAN access only known devices"). So make this wireless security option temporarily in the router (call configuration page of the router). And connect the Chromcast again with your Wi-Fi network. And do not use the Wi-Fi guest access, because guest access does not allow network communication between the connected Wi-Fi devices.
