I got Airpods for my birthday a week ago (2nd generation) and somehow I have noticed over the days that they are somehow faulty.
For one thing, the micro quality is so bad. For example, when I make audios on Whatsapp, they are totally incomprehensible or when I talk to someone on the phone. You can hardly hear and understand me then.
When I watch Netflix or videos on YouTube with the Airpods, they sometimes stop several times in a row, which sometimes annoys me.
Can I take them to any Apple store and exchange them if necessary? Isn't there such a guarantee somehow? I do not have the receipt because they were a gift from my friends and I therefore only have the original packaging. Is that enough?

Since this is a defect, the warranty naturally applies here. Go to the apple store and claim the product.
