Netflix parasite account not working?

I gave my Netflix account to a friend in another country (I know you shouldn't do it, but please do not comment on it) and it worked for the time being. But then she wanted to register once and it didn't work for her, for me it did. Can Netflix know that I can't be in another country because of Corona, or why can't she sign up?

In another country you can only register for 2 weeks, then you have to get the account from there. The EU directive, which has only made this possible for about 2 years, only applies to short-term trips.
