For a long time I have had the problem that YouTube videos, especially with higher resolution, only load very slowly and the connection speed to the YouTube servers fluctuates very strongly. This usually happens in the afternoon or evening, when many people are trying to access the YouTube server. I also recently bought YouTube Premium and had hoped that it would get a little better with it, unfortunately it is not. It's not the internet. Could it be that this occurs more often since the lockdown? Netflix and co are still throttling their bit rate in some cases. Or is there actually a workaround for this?
But this is not due to YouTube, but to your DSL.
No, it runs permanently stable, that's not the reason
It's only the connection to the YouTube servers that breaks
May be because of your internet, because it is the same with me sometimes and when I switch to mobile data everything runs smoothly.
Internet runs stable as written
Then switch to mobile data when it appears and see if it works
Won't bring anything because the network never collapses for me
Especially since mobile data is significantly slower, since my contract is throttled to 50mbit / s
Bro you know more than I do. Maybe you should see for yourself what the problem is. Otherwise, install Youtube again and see if it works.
Yes, well, but if YouTube has lousy sever that doesn't help me.
Most of the time I have problems with the PC, I rarely look at my cell phone, but there are also problems there, especially in the afternoons
Maybe it's because of the device you're watching YouTube on, at least I don't have any problems with 4K video either, but if too much memory is required it could be that the videos can't be processed well.
This also happens on mobile phones, especially with 1440p and 2160p videos
Hardware is more than enough
It always collapses suddenly and then comes back, especially with videos from the USA and sometimes also from England
I'm trying to get in there, because I have a test system here, a workstation PC with a WLAN card in 5 GHz WLAN with Windows 10 Pro on a cable internet connection with 32 megabits per second. For testing I have a current Firefox 83.0 with the uBlock Origin add-on (because I hate advertising). If I now open 11 tabs with YouTube and start wildly the playlists of technikkeller, technikfaultier, zerobrain, linus tech tips, tuhl teim de, pc-welt, heise online, golemde, gepegrieft, proof wood, computer: club2, then they all run Videos without problems in parallel! And also in the long term. The bandwidth meter is of course on the stop, because there are now 4 megabytes per second flowing continuously.
Which browser are you using? Which add-ons / extensions do you use? Do you have security software installed and running? Are there any other devices on your internet line? Do you have smart home devices like Wi-Fi surveillance cameras running that record in Full HD?
There's nothing else to it, but that also happens on the mobile phone and tablet, it's not the browser
Yes, I can run that many videos in parallel without any problems, only the connection breaks down for 1-2 minutes and that has happened very often since the lockdown, before that was never a problem
Other sites like netflix and co don't have that with me
Only happens on Youtube
Then that's how it is.
Yes, but it can't be, especially since I pay a lot for good quality
Then your management will clearly be the bad fair.
You can always pay that no problem, you have special right of termination if that happens often. I'll guess Vodafon.
No, I'm at Osnatel, and the line never causes problems, so it can't be because of them
Especially since all other pages run smoothly as written
I have my box settings open at the same time, because the signal does not break, only when connecting to the YouTube servers
Then I'm at the end of my game.
Find out Internet access data and set router to factory settings.
I tried it at the beginning of the year without success
But I think it is the YouTube servers that are the problem, because the connection to them breaks down and not my internet
Do you have a link where things are going badly.
How do you mean link Should I record the speed dropping
That just happens totally randomly and mostly when you wind back and forth
Which is bad for you.
It doesn't depend on the video, but on the timing, now it will probably go well anyway, since it is already very late, it usually only happens in the evening or in the afternoon
Aso
Although I mostly have the problem with American videos
Currently, however, the connection keeps breaking down to 40-60mbit / s, but that is hardly noticeable
Now it seems to collapse again, as you can see in the picture
With another video it looks like this at the same moment
Do you happen to be at Telekom?
Decrease resolution.
The videos only run at 720p, especially since that shouldn't have any effect on the speed
No RWE
