Why do young people stop watching ARD and ZDF?

I (28) am almost the only one in my class (full-time training) who watches GEZ media. Everyone else just Netflix, Youtube, etc. Why? Good documentaries come from ZDFinfo.

TV of your choice and interest. Go to the interesting places whenever you want.

Please ask those who make the channel selection.

Eh, no. Maybe on the main channels. There are many good things in the zdf transmitter family.

Then just "deselect" the transmitter. You are annoying with belief in words and therefore I'm now unlatching

I also watched documentaries. If you are an expert in anything then you laugh at documentaries. Sometimes they are also beautifully colored. In any case, they are made for someone who has never heard of the topic

ZDFinfo or -neo are not bad, as are the ARD's info / doc channels.

But you don't really want to tell me here that what's on ARD right now is "quality television" or even educational… Just like all the new thrillers, series, etc. What goes on day in and day out. I'm 40 and think it's terrible. That in no way forms.

If I want to watch documentaries, I do it on Youtube, because I don't need any public channels.

What programs do you watch there?

I listen to Deutschlandfunk, Bayern 2, WDR 5. I don't watch live TV. In the media libraries especially Arte (especially documentaries but also films), the same applies to Ard and Zdf.
