Should one only buy things if they have a meaningful use?

By that I mean, for example, a Netflix subscription, a skin in the game, etc. Yes, actually having no use. Should you get something like that anyway if you feel like it?

Ta

If it's worth the money to you, there's always use.

pe

Yes, but I still only think so when you feel like doing something, it may not make sense 🧐

Da

So you should still buy this if you think it's possible and great. If no one bought luxury goods anymore, the economy would go downhill

I don't quite understand the answer right now. I think a lot of people think Netflix is great, but theoretically it's also a waste of time and pointless (although you need a break from time to time (which makes it more useful again))

ab

If you can afford it.

Having is always better than need.

Fo

You can't say it like that.

You should weigh up what benefits you will get yourself from it, how often you use this thing and whether you really need it or there may be alternatives. If you watch a lot of series, then a Netflix subscription can be useful, but if, like me, you might briefly skim a series 1-2 times a month and then drop it again you can save the costs. I don't buy anything useless per se, only things that I actually use. That can save a lot of money.

Yes, because such things make life more beautiful because they are for entertainment and pleasure. It just has to be affordable for everyone.
