Is it a stream service like Netflix? Or something else? Because you can look for football. Or do you have to pay extra?
How much does it cost per month?
Exactly. Sky Ticket is Sky's streaming service. Just like Netflix or Amazon Prime. You can buy different "packages", for example Sky Entertainment or Sky Cinema, depending on what you want to see. Can it also cancel monthly.
Ok, I read that it is quite complicated, you need a receiver, etc. Is that true?
Sky Ticket is a streaming service from Sky similar to Netflix. There are three packages that can be booked and combined on a monthly basis: Cinema for Movies, Entertainment for Series, Supersport for Sport. Cinema and entertainment cost officially 9.99 euro per month, super sports is more expensive (I think 29.99 euro). For new customers, there are significantly cheaper deals. Also, as an existing customer you usually pay much less than the official price. The packages can be canceled on a monthly basis.
For Sky Ticket you do not need a receiver. From Sky Ticket there's an app for Android, IOS devices.
No, you do not need that for Sky Ticket. Receiver etc. Do you only need if you buy the "right sky", so not the streaming service. If you want to watch football, for example, you could buy the Supersport ticket, which costs 10 euro in the first month, then 30. I watch Sky Ticket for example via the Smart TV
All it takes is the browser on the PC and the installation of the Sky Ticket Player.
I have the Sky App on the PS4 and I just want to watch TV shows. Should work or?
Yes that works on any case. For series you should then buy the Sky Entertainment ticket. But you can also buy several.
That means 9.99 if I only want to watch series, and 19.98 if I still want to watch movies?
And is there then live GoT broadcast?
Many Thanks!
Right, the prices for the packages add up. GOT you can look at night almost parallel to the US broadcast. Take a look at the Sky Ticket page, there are always offers for new customers.
For GOT, the Entertainment Ticket is enough!
Small addition yet: When you book a month, you always pay proportionally for the remaining days of the current month and the entire following month. GoT starts on April 15th and runs until the end of May. Currently there's a month of entertainment for 4.99 euro. If you book in the middle of April, you pay a total of about 7.50 Euro and can watch the complete season GoT. Do not forget to cancel one week before the end of the month.
Many Thanks. Do I have to pay by card? Or what options do you have?
According to FAQ direct debit, credit card or PayPal. I pay by direct debit.
Thank you.
Stupid, will probably have to do without it. For Paypal you have to be 18, I'm only 15. And credit card or direct debit is too dangerous for my parents, but it is not or?
Too dangerous? I think the concern is unfounded. I have never had problems with Sky.
Hmm, maybe your age could be problematic. The GoT episodes are often only from 16.
My parents think they could just deduct more money, or deduct everything if we give our data there.
Nobody can control it. 😂
Also, I'm up to date with GoT and I have no problems with that. I'm definitely mature enough for such a thing
