How do you like the Netflix series Down by the River?

I would be interested in the opinion of others.

I read the book about it very sad. Didn't know there was a series on Netflix. What do you think of them? There used to be a series of them on Super RTL. It was beautiful

I'm a big fan of the original and didn't like the subsequent series on Super RTL because they weren't as nicely drawn as the original. But the Netflix series is awesome. Great drawn, great music, very much based on the original. But I've only seen the first episode so far, tonight the second episode follows.

The 1978 film is an absolute masterpiece. It was drawn by artists and you can see that.

Then you missed the best. But be careful, it's really not for children.
