I recently watched the netflix series 'The Queen's Gambit' and would like to know why this series is 16+
Because at 12 you don't necessarily understand it and because there's alcohol abuse there.
Because the FSK classifies the series as 16+
Severe substance abuse, emotional addictions (for example)
So personally I don't know the series. The FSK or some other association tests the series and see what content the series conveys. It doesn't even have to be violence or sex or the like. Occurrence. She could be over 16 because the jury thinks that you could not understand the content under 16 years.
Presumably because of repeated drug abuse.
"Netflix determines age ratings based on the frequency and impact of potentially offensive content in the title (such as the amount of violence, sex, vulgar language, nudity, or intoxication)."
Because the FSK classifies the series as 16+
If I see that correctly, the FSK is innocent. There's no FSK release certificate for the series.
