Is it possible to watch Hunter x Hunter without Netknix knowledge?

As some know for sure, Hunter x Hunter is currently running on Netflix (maybe a bit longer) and I heard the anime should be pretty good (I'm a bit late with it haha) but I have no idea what happened in the story before. Or is the Hunter x hunter on Netflix already to say the 1 season of the anime. So you need a prior knowledge or can I look at the anime in peace?

If you look at Episode 1, there are no problems…

On Netflix, there are only the two Hunter x Hunter films.

2. Hunter x Hunter: The Last Mission

You can watch the series of HxH (2011) Legal on Amazon Prime Video.

Since there are only two films on the series for Netflix you will not be able to do much with it. The story and development of Gon & Co's abilities is very complex and it makes sense to watch the series from episode 1 and later the movies.
