Good anime series on Netflix?

I'm looking for a good anime series. I have not watched an anime series but I would like to watch an anime series and see if I like something like that. I have the series Death note on my list but I do not know if it's worth it to look. So please have other suggestions. The genre of the anime series is no matter, please write only briefly what it's about.

I would recommend for a start Death Note and / or Full Metal Alchemist.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
