Do you recommend which K-Dramas, j-dramas, and so on that are available on Netflix?
Now it depends on what you mean by that.
Recommended is e.g. "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring"
Or Oldboy, although it's more of a thriller (but also with drama).
It looks a bit modest on Netflix.
The series "Our man in Japan" is also a bit of a drama. But only Amazon.
There are so many! Of course it depends a bit on which genre you are interested in. Many of them are on Netflix. I have put those in italics where I'm relatively sure that they are (or were) on Netflix, so you might have to look again on Flixable to see if they are still there. Every now and then the titles differ, but most of the time you can find it anyway. I particularly liked:
Office romance or professional life: She was pretty once, Her private Life, What is wrong with secretary Kim, Coffee Prince, Boss and me (C), The secret Life of my Secretary, Clean with Pasion for now, Descendents of the Sun,
Supernatural and Fantasy: Goblin, My love from the Star, Masters Sun, The Beauty inside, Legend of the blue sea, Secret Garden, Bride of Haebaek, Hotel del Luna, A korean Odyssey, Rooftop Prince, While you were Sleeping, About Time, Strong Woman
Science: Are you human too? I'm not a robot, My Holo Love,
School or university: Good morning Call (J), Pride (J), Weightlifting Fairy, Playful Kiss, from Meteor Garden there's still the original K version Boys over flowers
Major events: Kill me Heal me, Still Seventeen, Just between Lovers, Youre my destiny (T), Crash landing on you
Crime and Action: Healer, The K2, My secret Terrius
Slice of Life: You're beautiful, Personal taste, Another Miss Oh, Oh my Venus, Cinderella and the four Knights, Three dads one mom, Accidentally in Love (C)
Historical: Faith / the great doctor, Queen In Hyuns Man, 100 days my prince, Mr. Sunshine, Love in the Moonlight, Sunkyunkwan Scandal
Of course you can argue about the categories and some things fit into several others is difficult to classify at all, but as a rough guide. There are also so many more that are worth seeing!
When it comes to finding dramas, 'My drama list' is a source of endless possibilities, it feels like all Asian series and films are listed here. It is particularly helpful that they are rated by the community, that gives a very good impression of which drama is worthwhile, there are just so many. You can also read summaries there to determine whether this is something for you. You can sort by keywords if you are particularly interested in a type of drama, for example "Rich man, poor woman" for Cinderella stories "," High School "," Body Swap "etc. Of course, the actors are also listed and the dramas in which they contribute.
Thank you so much!
