I've been thinking for a few days if I should buy a tablet. However, I have little idea of tablets or ipads.
What would you recommend to me?
I do not necessarily have to play it. There's more to googling fast, YouTube, Twitch, Netflix, etc. Just to entertain me. It does not have to be connected to the TV or anything like that.
I have been a bit smart so far, but I do not really get on with it. Since I've never had an Apple device, (but I'm not averse to it) I'm not sure Ipad or tablet? And which one? What would you recommend to me in my case?
First, do not let anyone, not a fanatic, convince you that Apple, Windows, or whatever is junk. Only you can find that out for yourself.
If you are really limited to surfing, you can buy a cheap model. Anyone at Apple, no matter which. With the other manufacturers I would simply test myself in a MediaMarkt, which is good for you. It hardly matters to performance. But: There are actually "scrap" models that you get for example at Pearl. It's worth it then to give up NoName products.
