Suspicious activity with a Netflix account?

Moin, I'm a little confused and hope that someone here can help me. The guy on the Netflix service phone definitely couldn't.

I've been getting strange emails from Netflix for a few days.

"Hello, we noticed that someone has logged into your Netflix account (email address).

Device web browser

Location Saxony, Germany (may not correspond to your exact location)

Time October 30th at 5:41 pm CET

If you have recently logged in, you can continue watching Netflix with ease. However, if you do not recognize these login data etc… "

So. Of course, I immediately changed my password and logged out of all devices. Because I don't live in Saxony. Not even near. But the emails keep coming. Strangely, at the same time every time I log in. So I just thought that the stupid system just didn't recognize my location. But it was a bit uncomfortable, especially since when I logged in I actually ticked the box that Netflix should remember my login data. As a precaution (also to protect the linked PayPal account) I called the service department. The guy was quite perplexed. That's why I'm asking here now.

Is that irrelevant or is it suspect?

The programs that find out a location based on the IP address are not always 100% correct (is also in the mail).

And since you say that these emails always come when you log in, you don't have to worry about them.

Okay thanks. I was particularly surprised that Netflix would log in every damn time when I log in to the same device:-)

When you log in again, this email will be sent.
It is not a mail that there was a login attempt from an unknown location or something.

And if your login data is deleted every time after your browser is closed, I would check your cookie settings.
Possibly. If the cookies are deleted when the browser is restarted…

That would be one possibility!
