I would like to know whether the pi zero runs smoothly with kodi and whether you can add Netflix and such. So whether netflix would still run on it without any problems.

Au

Simply put: no.
The Zero is too weak for that.

Cl

For Netflix and such, or for Kodi too? Because on Youtube there are many guides where you can probably use the zero.

Au

What was unclear about my answer?

be

Kodi will run reasonably smoothly on it, Netflix probably not. He'll be too weak for that.

Cl

Whether your answer applies to everything or just to Netflix and co.

But by now I have already seen that Kodi will work.

Au

My answer is all-encompassing and clear.
It just seems to me that you don't want to hear her.
You can't do anything about that.

Cl

All right, I've been looking for the answer, thank you!

Do you happen to know which pi you would need at least so that Netflix and co, and maybe Android TV also work?

Cl

If you are sure it is ok, thanks anyway ^^

Ca

Why don't you take the Pi 4 right away.

Clearly the P3 should be enough.

BUT that's not that much difference in price.

O.k the Zereo would be very energy efficient but of course also quite slimmed down and slower.

Video should run smoothly and maybe something comes up later what the Pi 4 can do on the side.

Ca

Because on Youtube there are many guides where you can probably use the zero.

The Zerro is certainly enough for controlling and regulating, but that's something different from real-time video

be

I don't know whether Netflix works with the Pi at all. I've already tried Android TV. It does not work. But there are Android TV boxes, some of which are even cheaper than a Raspberrypi.

Cl

I just wanted to spice up my old TV a bit and then put a few films on it (Netflix and so would have been great but not a must). There are definitely other cool things with the Pi's.

But I'll take a look, thanks for your info.

Cl

And the Zero is already available for 10 euro and unfortunately I can't find the Pi 3 or 4 anywhere below 30 euro, especially the four…
