I have the problem that a week ago from nothing the PC crashed (only Netflix nothing demanding for the PC). I did not think anything about it and wanted to start it up the next day. When I pressed the start button, the lights and fans went on for a millisecond and then went out again. If you press the power button again, nothing happens at all. Only when the PC is disconnected from the power supply and reconnected again, the fans jerk again very briefly and then nothing happens again when pressed again. Thus I can no longer start up or use the PC. First, I suspected the PSU, but I bypassed it and only supplied power to the fans, which worked, so the PSU should work. Next I blamed the motherboard for the defect. Msi B150m per-vdh. That's why I ordered the b150m mortar and eingabaut. However, that has not changed and exactly the same problem still exists. Do you have any ideas or solutions for what else could be and how can I fix it?
First, I suspected the PSU, but I bypassed it and only supplied power to the fans, which worked, so the PSU should work.
And yet, I still suspect it.
Maybe the power supply can no longer handle the total power consumption of the PC because it is broken and therefore breaks down.
The fans consume hardly anything.
PC does not start up anymore, fans only twitch briefly, what to do?
Remove the power supply, start with a paperclip (connect the green to black in the 24-pin connector) & measure the voltage on all cables
If this is OK build out of the PC Everything except the bare essentials & key in until the problem is back (it can be a short somewhere)
A friend of mine had this problem times it lay with him at a defective RAM bar. So if it starts short, the processor is fine so it can only be due to RAM or power consumption if you have too few watts and your hardware consumes too much the PC switches off again because the power supply can't handle the amount of electricity.
Hope could help you tell me if you have solved the problem.
PS: Try to take out all the bars except for one and test obs if not take the next bar.
Thank you for the reply. But unfortunately not the Ram bars. As soon as I unplug the graphics card, it drives up again.
Had already checked the power supply. Is probably the graphics card. Once it is no longer connected it works.
Thank you very much. But was still on the graphics card.
