Is the witcher netflix series like the books so stick to everything and do gerald and ye neffer ever come together?

In the first season they had a dispute and haven't seen each other since

The second season has not even been shot yet. Nobody can know that yet. Except the authors and producers themselves.

So

The story is based on the books. But there were already some deviations in the first season.

The fates of Geralt and Yennefer are connected by the wash. One way or the other, they can't get away from each other.

Iz

The relationship between Yennefer and Geralt is difficult.

The difference of the book is, however, that Yen already knows about Geralt's wish in the short story "the last wish" of Geralt's wish, while she only finds out about the Golden Dragon in the series.

The controversy is rather marginal, seen across history. They keep coming together (whether because of the wish or not, it is not certain), but their paths actually separate again very soon. They both regularly cheat with other partners (assuming a relationship).

What is certain is that any love affairs continue to shape their relationship. Even though Yen Geralt's love is great, she is more of a loner, shaped by the fact that she can't have children.

Fun fact: In the games, the player's actions ultimately decide whether Geralt comes together with Triss, Yen or neither.

The series is based on the books, but does not mean that they take over everything 100%. How it goes you see if it goes on.

What exactly did geralt want?

So

That his fate and that of Yennefer are connected.
