When will there be new episodes of Asterisk War on Netflix?

I saw the last episode of The Asterisk available on Netflix recently on Netflix and would like to know when the next episodes will come. Can someone help me please?

Ro

The series is completed and another sequel is not planned currently.

al

But there's still a continuing manga and in the last episode did not come as otherwise the series is finished?

Ro

The series is based on a light novel and open ends are normal in anime to make the charm of buying the original work.

pa

There will not be any. The anime has 2 seasons with a 12 episodes = 24 episodes, if Netflix has all 24 episodes, then the anime is also over. Despite the open end, but such is normal in anime series.

Va

Umm, are Visual Novels eig free? So do not ask just ask.

Ro

Do you mean Light Novels? No. But there are of course Fan Translations (English).

Visual Novels is free, but is rare. The good ones all cost money.

Va

Ne just meant UN, because of Clannad, because it has no open end so happy end. That's why I wondered if visual novels anime simply do not need an open end, if the UN are free anyway.

Me

The series is finished with 24 episodes divided into 2 seasons. And if you're wondering if a 3rd season is coming, nothing is known yet.

Ro

As I said, 99% of UNs are NOT free.

Ro

You just do not understand what I mean, can that be? ^^ I'm talking about the fact that most of the VNs are NOT free. There's no relationship between one and the other.

Va

I'm very sorry * bow * I can't always relate so factually * bow *

Ma

A sequel is not planned? Well the last release on carriers is from 2017 and is called Vol 3. The 4th release was announced under the name The Asterisk War, Vol.

I think that's for sequels.

Ro

This is not a sequel. On the volumes are each 6 episodes of that series.

Ma

Then it makes 4x 6 = 24 episodes as well as on Netflix represented. What are the next books up to and including Vol. 9, which is announced in March? Only for my understanding. No hate

Ro

As I said, anime serve as the original work - the Light Novel - to use for advertising purposes. It adapts a certain number of volumes to end up saying "You liked it, then read the books!".

This is normal in the anime industry.

Ma

You said that before, but that does not answer my question. My question was about new releases like this, but Light Novel is alright. We'll probably talk past each other. Is already OK. I'll get the edition, as always. https://www.amazon.com/...197530280X

Ro

Well, that's just the ninth volume of the Light Novel? XD

Ma

A light novel is merely a work whose creators bought the rights of publishers. A series can thus be continued and published without the originating author being a contributing member.

Ro

No?

This is the author's Light Novel, officially translated for the English room. Whispers of a Long Farewell is just the English subname for it, which the band also has in Japanese.

Ma

Um, yes. Read the English Wikipedia page by what is written. In particular, publications or running time of the manga and the light novel. As well as what will be published in America and what and when in Japan. You'll be amazed, even if you have to scroll a lot.

And on Netflix is nowhere if it is the movies for the anime, which actually only has a duration of 2013 - 2016 or the light novel version since 2012 - extends to present.

Ro

That's just normal that a light novel takes longer, until it is translated? Oo

The Novel ran from 2012 - 2018. This was licensed in America in 2016 and since then comes out every four months in English.

The anime adapts loosely to Volume 6. Just because the remaining 8 volumes are missing, this is NO guarantee for a sequel, etc.

Ma

I added that you can see on the page, when the tapes appeared in Japan. Since you have described that the Light Novels are only new releases of the first 24 episodes and therefore the whole work is completed.

Ro

I wrote that the anime adapted the first volumes. In hindsight, I have even explained it in more detail and you named the number. Everything after 6 is not yet adapted, and probably will not be. The release date of the English edition has NOTHING to do with it.

Ma

The series is completed and another sequel is not planned currently.

Ro

I'm talking about the anime!

Ma

You do not know what's going on in the productions and I think you underestimate Netflix especially in the promotion of underground as well as junior studios in the Middle East.

Ma

Sailor Moon and Pokemon were also adapted before the series in Europe and America led to success.
