Medion laptop gets hot?

My laptop is a couple of weeks old (july iwan) and when i watch netflix or use after effects it gets very hot. He has 8ram (if that's what it's called) is that normal?

How do i know that? You can touch it but it's hot but if you leave your hand on it you get used to it (it makes sense) and it's just hot between the keyboard and the screen
