I've always wondered why the Criminal Minds series isn't available on Netflix. It's a great series that already has 14 seasons. Since the series is available on Netflix in America, I saw it myself, I wonder why we didn't get this series here in Germany? Does anyone know?

Simply because Netflix has to buy the licenses that cost a great deal of money and because the rights holders would first have to grant these licenses to Netflix, which may not be possible if other broadcasters or streaming services have exclusive rights here. Since the series is available on Amazon, it may be that Netflix would not get these licenses at all, even if they wanted them… Such series that have been running for so long (with so many seasons) and that have been up and down on TV have run but do not necessarily correspond to the offer that Netflix has otherwise, so it may also be that they are simply not interested in it, especially since, as I said, the competitor already offers the series and therefore the interest may not be very great anyway
