Favorite seasons on The Walking dead?

I stopped after season 4.

The telltale games are better.
The comics, the template, should be very good. At least a friend told me that a few years ago.

The first season was the best. Then it got worse from season to season.
I stopped from season 6 or 7 because the whole Negan thing excited me very much.

I found the 1 and 2 season best, they were very interesting, from the third I almost didn't watch anymore. Irgentwie then dismantled the series and I didn't like the fact that you always let people die who you had already got used to (Nick's wife e.g. Or the Chinese) but well I have other favorite series. (The Rain, Black Summer)

I know… This war against the Negans was sooo exploited.

(I know how you feel: (ATTENTION SPOILERS) Glenn = Dead Abraham = Dead and a Rick who is shocked for a whole season (7) … But in season 8 it really gets down to business because you know what will happen if Rick and Co. Get Angry… Believe me, a lot of heads will roll.)

It is not yet clear if Rick is dead, they thought he was, but the audience saw what happened to him. After all, there's evidence in season 10 in a row that he was in the place (after his disappearance) where one of the characters was.
